Making urban noise scenarios audible using outdoor noise auralizations relies on models of moving sources such as passenger cars, in addition to suitable models for simulating sound propagation and receivers. In this work, the uncertainty of source parameter estimation of vehicle pass-by noise is investigated. For this purpose, the real directional characteristics of the microphone are analyzed. In addition, the effects of uncertain parameters in the calculation of sound propagation attenuation are investigated by Monte Carlo simulations and sensitivity analyses.
