The acoustic propagation of sound in the open field or in the interior can be calculated efficiently and in high quality by geometric simulation methods. However, different geometrical approaches such as ray tracing and radiosity use different approaches to simulate an acoustic environment. In this master thesis, the quality and the performance of these different approaches are evaluated for the late part in impulse responses in real-time auralization in virtual reality.
