Vibroacoustics deals with the generation and radiation of sound from structures. Important tools for sound field analysis are measurements of point impedance, surface velocity and modal analysis of the structure's vibration patterns. The tools available in the institute are professional hard- and software (Polytec® Scanning Doppler Vibrometer, I-DEAS®, SYSNOISE®, Cada-X®) as well as our measurement system "Monkey Forest".
